Vanilla Shake
Recipe courtesy Emeril Lagasse, 2003
Show:  The Essence of Emeril
Episode:  Blenders
1 pint premium vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons light corn syrup

Place all the ingredients in a bar blender and process on low speed?

*For a fruity shake, take about 1 cup of chopped fruit (such as berries, peaches, or bananas) and toss with 2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar to combine. Allow fruit to macerate for 15 to 20 minutes, or until juices have pooled in the bottom of the bowl. Add to the blender along with the ice cream, in place of the milk and half of the corn syrup (using only 2 tablespoons corn syrup).
