Easy & Good 12/17/2007 at 03:26pm User: Sue from STAR VALLEY, AZ User Rating: This is great when you have a busy day and need a sweet something for after dinner. We've eaten it left over and it's still good. I loved using the crock pot for something besides meat. Taste like black berry cobbler... 12/03/2007 at 09:28am User: Stacey from Clarendon, AR User Rating: Loved this cobbler... was very easy to make and delicious. I did think that there was too much topping. Will make again but use about 1/2 of topping. THE BEST CROCK POT DESSERT EVER 11/12/2007 at 10:40am User: Jennifer from Martinsville, VA User Rating: I had to hide the leftovers so that I could have a chance at eating more later. My kids and my husband want me to make this a weekend tradition! EXCELLENT 11/09/2007 at 09:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This cobbler is the best thing I have ever made in my life. The baking mixture is so good! Its thick and rich and creamy. The fruit, cake part, and ice cream balance each other perfectly. This recipe would not be as good without the ice cream so don't forget it! I was watching the show one time and I decided it would be fun and easy to make. I am now making it again for my company. BIG HIT! purplrladytaz 11/07/2007 at 08:44am User: teresa from oxford, NC User Rating: love the cobbler. Easy but bready 11/05/2007 at 04:55pm User: Misty from Norfolk, VA User Rating: This was so easy to do, and I was amazed that I could cook a cobbler in my slow cooker and have it actually browned on top. The only thing was I felt there was to much topping, especially the next day when the topping absorbed all the liquid. I am going to make it again with other types of fruit and I think I will cut the amount of topping in half. Tastes like you slaved all day making it over the stove! 01/23/2008 at 09:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this during Thanksgiving week, and my mom thought this was the best dessert ever. My mom is very hard to please. She is 70-years-old, an excellent cook and a former restauranteur. Mom saw me adding the ingredients to the crock pot and she thought it looked awful. When mom returned home the first thing she did was buy a crock pot and then she made this recipe. She still talks about it. quick and easy 01/20/2008 at 02:12pm User: cindy from mechanicsville, VA User Rating: My family really enjoyed this recipe.Top it with vanilla ice cream. |
