Very Good 06/30/2008 at 08:54am User: Anonymous User Rating: I've made this 4 times already and I just cannot get enough of it. If you are on a weight loss plan, you should substitute the cream for skim butter milk and because the smoked salmon is a little salty don't add that much salt between layers. But it is a very easy recipe to make. Tip: to slice the potato I bought a "good grip" slicer. It cut the potato to the exact size and it only took me 5 minutes. eh 05/08/2008 at 04:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was ok. It wasn?t bad, but I had higher hopes for it. I felt like it was lacking in flavor ? like it was missing something. And I felt it was a bit dry, but I didn?t pour the melted butter on top. If I?m gonna eat something this rich (aka lots o fat), I want to enjoy it more. Excellent 01/02/2008 at 12:53am User: Tyler from Hyde Park, OH User Rating: I have prepared this on several occasions, it's wonderful. I follow the directions exactly - with one variation. Because of other reviews I read here, I slice the potatoes quite thin, about 1/16th of an inch. It turns out perfect every time. GREAT RECIPE 11/26/2007 at 03:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: OUR ENTIRE FAMILY REGARDS LOX (SMOKED SALMON) VERY HIGHLY. THIS SEEMS LIKE A DIFFERENT GREAT WAY TO ENJOY IT. Great dish 11/24/2007 at 10:07am User: Linda from Nitro, WV User Rating: this dish was really great my guess really fell in love with it awesome salmon and potato casserole 10/12/2007 at 07:13pm User: Bonnie from Lakeside, CA User Rating: When I first read the recipe I thought it would be a little bland, but I was truly mistaken. Everything in the dish complimented everything nicely. The touch of melted butter and fresh squeezed lemon juice was the ultimate touch. Thank you Emeril, this dish is amazing. Cooking time and/or other instructions wrong 09/08/2007 at 03:21pm User: e from new holland, PA User Rating: I agree with the rater above, some part of the instructions were wrong, cooking time was way off for me as well and ruined this recipe for me. The potatoes were still hard an hour and a half after I put them in the oven. Joel S. Fowler 08/03/2007 at 04:17pm User: Joel S. from PHILA., PA User Rating: prep and cooking time makes this a great recipe for a dinner get together, beside being a fantastic tasteful dish... OK 07/18/2007 at 10:42am User: Glenn from Stone Mountain, GA User Rating: This didn't come out very well for me. The dish took three times as long to cook as in the recipe - I'm not certain if the potatoes should have been parboiled or precooked, or if the dish I had was just too deep. It tasted very good, but was slightly dry - again maybe because of the baking dish being too deep and not wide enough. EXCELLENT 07/16/2007 at 09:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: DELICIOUS !!! Great Casserole! 05/04/2007 at 01:31am User: Kristi from Portland, OR User Rating: Very easy and very tasty. A great new way to do salmon! Too Fat 03/10/2007 at 09:04pm User: JEFF from Las Vegas, NV User Rating: Too much heavy cream and eggs.
