makes me miss North Carolina 08/22/2007 at 05:33pm User: Julia from Beaumont, TX User Rating: Makes a great pulled pork sandwich! Being from Cajun Country, I've served it plain with rice and gravy. Soooo easy and time friendly for a Mom who never stops until her head hits the pillow at night. I control what is in my son's BBQ sandwich. No worries, and he loves it. Easy and delicious! 08/20/2007 at 11:08am User: Anonymous User Rating: I've made this twice so far and my family loves how tender the pork comes out. Some of the flavor depends on what bbq sauce you use, but the texture of the pork using this recipe comes out great. I use Grill Mates Pork rub on it before putting cloves in it and then into the crock pot. ! 07/30/2007 at 09:32pm User: Inna from blah, CA User Rating: Very easy and delicious! Just not good 07/28/2007 at 04:45pm User: John from Houston, TX User Rating: Tastes nothing like BBQ. Terrific 07/02/2007 at 11:20am User: Anonymous User Rating: This was so easy. I put the 4lb roast in the slow cooker at 8:30am. It was done by 4:30pm. I took it out, shredded it right away and tossed it in the heated bbq sauce and served it right away. I used a McCormick pork rub. Great picnic! Easy and Tasty 06/26/2007 at 01:13pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Really liked this. Simple, tasty and flexible.... Great for leftovers yummmm... 06/06/2007 at 10:37pm User: LAURIE from Northridge, CA User Rating: This was easy and delicious. The BBQ was a hit! Leftover Queen 04/30/2007 at 09:19pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Easy and simple. Used leftover pork loin roast with vegetables, potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. Terrific. Thank you. The Best! 04/24/2007 at 02:46pm User: Bonnie from sebatian, FL User Rating: This was SOOOO good. The pork just pulled apart. Of course the sauce you choose will determine the outcome of the dish. I used Sonny's for the first time. I have a new favorite. You will too. It's like eating out. Very little effort and a big payoff. The best! 04/09/2008 at 09:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is easy and very delicious. I used a smokey misquite seasoning instead of the one in the recipe and Sweet Baby Ray's Bbq sauce. Very good!! Easy and delicious! 03/18/2007 at 06:40pm User: Jennifer from Round Lake, IL User Rating: I was looing for a new way to cook a pork roast I bought and came upon this recipe. I just let if simmer all day and it turned out fantastic! My husband can't stop raving. I think I'm going to make this for my next party- the meat is tender, juicy and flavorful. AWESOME 03/02/2008 at 10:17am User: Nichole from Hobe Sound, FL User Rating: This recipe is awesome and super easy. My husband wonders why I don't make this all the time! It taste like you have been slaving for hours making everything from scratch! Good for a group too! WOW!!! 03/01/2008 at 04:20pm User: Angel from Mobile, AL User Rating: I made this today and WOW is what everyone had to say. I admit that I was skeptical with the cloves, but they added just the right amount of flavor without being overpowering. I cut the recipe in half, smaller roast, didn't BBQ sauce it, and put it in my small crock pot for @ five hours (only has on and off). We just couldn't get over how flavorful and juicy it was! We love ours with hot sauce and slaw on a bun. I will definitely use this recipe again and make extra, for planned leftovers, if there is any :) This will be great at the next family gathering. If I could rate this higher, I would, this was outstanding! Great pulled pork! 02/03/2008 at 07:42pm User: ANNE from Prairie Grove, AR User Rating: This recipe is so easy and very tasty! We love it! |
