A Perfect Summer Meal 07/12/2008 at 07:43pm User: Jeanne from Plymouth, MN User Rating: I just made this dish last night for my family and we all loved it. The marinade for the lamb was incredibly flavorful, and easy to put together. I couldn't believe how delicious the grilled cherry tomatoes were. Having these kabobs over the flavorful couscous was a beautiful presentation and a perfect summer dinner. I would definitely make this over and over again! This quick dinner was a hit- thanks, Ina! No Blacks on Barefoot 05/28/2008 at 09:15pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Barefoot I'm your biggest fan, and I happen to be a black man. However, I never seem to see any blacks on your show. My wife and I used to love your show but your true colors are showing and now we watch the Neely's. It's a much better show. BEST LAMB 05/27/2008 at 07:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: delicious... I would even skip the side sauce, they are perfect on their own. Must love lamb. Marinade is weak. 09/15/2007 at 01:18am User: Stacie from Redondo Beach, CA User Rating: I love lamb from Middle Eastern restaurants - but mostly because it's usually very well marinated. The marinade for this recipe was weak for me but if you LOVE the flavor of lamb it delivers. But I wouldn't be able to enjoy without the additional sauce. Best Lamb recipe ever 08/25/2007 at 08:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My son, who is lamb lover, rated this the best lamb ever. My husband, who is NOT a lamb lover, thought it was excellent. I used a butterflied leg of lamb and grilled it. FABULOUS! 08/22/2007 at 12:31pm User: Susan from Spring City, PA User Rating: This was by far, the easiest and best lamb recipe I've ever made. Even better the next day. The red wine vinegar made the dish. Excellent 08/21/2007 at 09:39am User: Dana from pittsburgh, PA User Rating: My husband and I LOVED this. I only marinated for about an hour, but it was still delish. I'm not quite sure what the sauce was for. It didn't seem to add anything to the meat. best lamb ever 08/07/2007 at 02:58pm User: Anonymous User Rating: just do it make sure the wine is DRY 07/05/2007 at 09:32am User: Anonymous User Rating: If you don't use a dry red wine, the marinade is too sweet. Otherwise, the lamb was flavored very well. Good 06/16/2007 at 07:41pm User: Melissa from Stamford, CT User Rating: These were good. My guests really liked them, but I would have liked a stronger flavor for the marinade. In the future,I would marinade for at least 6-8 hours. Delicious! 01/17/2007 at 01:09pm User: Liza from Orange Park, FL User Rating: These were so delicious! I can't wait to make them again. First Time I made Lamb :) 01/14/2007 at 04:57pm User: Jessica from Willow Springs, IL User Rating: This was the first time I made lamb and it was wonderful, my husband loved it too :) I let the lamb marinate for 2 days the flavor was wondeful. It is winter where I live so I broiled it and it turned out great Great for company 01/12/2007 at 09:51am User: Rita from Tucson, AZ User Rating: I used this recipe, but I fixed a 4LB boneless lamb leg. I butterflied it and cooked it on the BBQ. It was a big hit. Six people ate the whole thing. I served it with roasted potaoes and tomato/feta salad. Traveling Dinner Hit! 01/01/2007 at 06:42pm User: Sally from Wisconsin Rapids, WI User Rating: This recipe is fantastic for a traveling dinner. I recently hosted the main course, and it was so nice to be able to have most of the work done ahead of time, with just the grilling at the end. I used the tomato feta salad, which was also excellent and easy to serve with little last-minute prep work. I earned rave reviews from my guests. The hardest thing about it was finding the lamb in my part of the country! Remember to try one of your favorite restaurants as a source if your local grocery store or butcher can't come through for you. these were a hit 12/11/2006 at 05:28pm User: Anonymous User Rating: these are great. Everyone at my party loved them. Will definitly make it again. |
