This was a hit! 11/25/2007 at 10:26am User: Angela from Jacksonville, FL User Rating: This went over great at a football party. I even got a 'This dip is phenomenal!' I added 2 lbs of taco seasoned ground beef and I used light sour cream instead of the yogurt. Yogurt did not sound good at all. Soooo Tasty!!! 08/29/2007 at 10:58am User: Stephanie from Urbana, IL User Rating: This is by far the best mexican style dip I've ever made. The beans are amazing, especially compared to canned refried beans(yuck!) and much healthier for you. At first I thought this recipe sounded like a lot of work, but it's really not as bad as it seems on paper, and besides, it's totally worth the extra time! I serve with blue corn tortilla chips and impress every time! So delicious! 06/14/2007 at 10:41am User: Ashley from Duluth, GA User Rating: This dip was a huge hit at a dinner party. The bean/garlic combination was specatcular. I used an extra clove of garlic and it was very flavorful. This is a real crowd pleaser and it's healthy too! Nice, Fresh Flavors 03/28/2007 at 08:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this for a superbowl party and it was well received by everyone...okay, maybe not the kids as much. The flavor was very fresh and balanced. I would probably not use as much (or any) chili powder next time around. I don't like the flavor much and think good beans taste fine without it. The Bean Part is Great! 03/04/2008 at 12:31pm User: Monica from Chicago, IL User Rating: I use this recipe only for the bean portion. I hate refried beans from a can so these are great. I reduce the salt to a 1/2 tsp though. Then I do a layer of sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, a layer of avocoado, cheese, tomato, olives, and then green onions. Its a delicious dip that everyone loves! Yummy! (but need Large food processor) 03/01/2007 at 08:09pm User: Jessica from Brooklyn, NY User Rating: I was hesitant to taste it after realizing I hadn't really 'done' anything to the ingredients except layer them, but it turned out to be Really Good. Especially a good way to eat some healthy beans & Guacamole without the saturated fats. best taco dip 02/23/2008 at 02:26pm User: Jen from Philadephia, PA User Rating: I recommend using sour cream (I only needed about a cup)instead of yogurt, but other than that, absolutely perfect. Awesome Dip 02/15/2007 at 01:47pm User: Jack from Oklahoma City, OK User Rating: I made this recipe for the Super Bowl. Really enjoyed this guick and easy dip. The different textures and flavors made this one hard to stop eating. Keep up the great work. Excellent! 02/13/2007 at 10:35am User: Katherine from Roseville, CA User Rating: I love to use fresh ingredients, and that I don't have to use hard, and lumpy refried beans! Using yogurt instead of sour cream makes it a healthy choice! Great Dip! 02/09/2008 at 02:49pm User: Sara from Auburn, NY User Rating: This was an excellent recipe! I used sour cream instead of the yogurt because I already had sour cream on hand. Everyone loved it!
