This went over great at a football party. I even got a 'This dip is phenomenal!' I added 2 lbs of taco seasoned ground beef and I used light sour cream instead of the yogurt. Yogurt did not sound good at all.

This is by far the best mexican style dip I've ever made. The beans are amazing, especially compared to canned refried beans(yuck!) and much healthier for you. At first I thought this recipe sounded like a lot of work, but it's really not as bad as it seems on paper, and besides, it's totally worth the extra time! I serve with blue corn tortilla chips and impress every time!
So delicious!

This dip was a huge hit at a dinner party. The bean/garlic combination was specatcular. I used an extra clove of garlic and it was very flavorful. This is a real crowd pleaser and it's healthy too!

I made this for a superbowl party and it was well received by everyone...okay, maybe not the kids as much. The flavor was very fresh and balanced. I would probably not use as much (or any) chili powder next time around. I don't like the flavor much and think good beans taste fine without it.

I use this recipe only for the bean portion. I hate refried beans from a can so these are great. I reduce the salt to a 1/2 tsp though. Then I do a layer of sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, a layer of avocoado, cheese, tomato, olives, and then green onions. Its a delicious dip that everyone loves!

I was hesitant to taste it after realizing I hadn't really 'done' anything to the ingredients except layer them, but it turned out to be Really Good. Especially a good way to eat some healthy beans & Guacamole without the saturated fats.

I recommend using sour cream (I only needed about a cup)instead of yogurt, but other than that, absolutely perfect.

I made this recipe for the Super Bowl. Really enjoyed this guick and easy dip. The different textures and flavors made this one hard to stop eating. Keep up the great work.

I love to use fresh ingredients, and that I don't have to use hard, and lumpy refried beans! Using yogurt instead of sour cream makes it a healthy choice!

I made this dip for superbowl sunday, My husband who is not a fan of dip with beans totally loved it. It was a big hit with everyone we had over. The best part was that it was so simple and took no time at all to make.

the prep took longer than it suggests, with all the chopping; but the end result is very tasty. My husband dipped tortilla chips and I used raw veggies.

Made this for a Superbowl party at the American Legion ast year and it was gone before the first quarter. I Have made it for every party since by request and will make a double for this years Superbowl. East to Make yet looks great and a great mix of flavors.
