If you're ever in need of a 3 ingredient desert that comes across as gourmet, this is it! Add a small scoop of sorbet or vanilla ice cream to it and you've got extremely happy guests.

So easy it was almost pathetic. I do not usually bake but I am going to try this with raisins & cinnamon and maybe strawberries & kiwi. However,I did have to bake it longer than the recipe called for an extra 7-10 minutes. I made 2, one in the regular oven and one in my new convection toaster oven. YUMMO!!

I watched the 8/26 episode containing this recipe. NOWHERE did it show or mentiond that the pie crust needed to be rolled out to 12 inches. In addition, 20 minutes wasn't nearly long enough even to color the dough. Mine was in the oven 45 minutes before it browned. Plus by rolling the dough to 12 inches, one could add another apple. On the good side, it was very tasty and I would make it again--only bake it for longer.

This recipes was very simple to make but lacked taste. Maybe using brown sugar and a cinnamon might give a bit more of a kick. Next time I will add these and some walnuts.

excellent

Very easy and tasty treat. I didn't have dried cranberries but used walnuts instead. This was easier than trying to remember my password. Thanks Robin!

I made this for 4th of July, and although it was good, next time I will use pippin apples and golden raisins to cut down the tartness, and use some brown sugar as well. I also egg washed the outer crust and sprinkled it with some sugar.

I like the apple-cranberry pie simply "bcoz" I love pie's and dessert and any pie that is easy to make and you don't have to think too much on how to cook or bake it. easy preparations and s' healthy. not too sweet. thanx, food network and to all the chef me and my Sis, were hooked.(sotimes dat is our topic wen we not arguing). "Never thought food will be that fun to make (specially, wen i dont really like coocking.) After watching the F.N., and the chef's whipping fun (foods). You'll get up and cook too. S' very inspirational and the tips were very hepful. my Brod-in-law is a chef, too. n' mi nephew is going to school to be a chef,also. ; ;

This was an easy recipe that was very tasty. I thought it needed seasoning, however, and added a couple of pats of butter and cinnamon.
