EXCELLENT 12/12/2006 at 12:49pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It is a very easy to make and festive desert! Thank you, Ina Perfection! 09/12/2006 at 08:45am User: REGINA from Va. Beach, VA User Rating: This peach dessert is so wonderful that my husband eats it and he doesn't like peaches! I also make a sweetened Marscapone cheese topping then crush amaretti cookies on top for some crunch! It's excellent and so easy! Great idea! 09/10/2006 at 05:34pm User: marsha from rancho mirage, CA User Rating: Per the recipe, drizzle half of the alcohol concotion on the peaches before baking. There was no mention of what to do with the other half, so I opted to imbibe the rest while waiting for the peaches to bake! Great flavor! Easy & Delicious 09/09/2006 at 06:16pm User: Amye from San Mateo, CA User Rating: This is really good with vanilla bean icecream on top. food lover 09/04/2006 at 04:02pm User: Alex from Gainesville, FL User Rating: A great recipe for a quick desert and simle to use, not the run of the mill type of desert. Loved the topping but peaches were mushy 08/18/2007 at 11:57am User: joyce from manchester, MO User Rating: The idea is great but I think next time I'll just bake the peaches cause the combo of grilling and baking made for very mushy peaches. And to be honest the grilling added nothing to the flavor. But the amaretti and alcohol on top made the peaches taste wonderful--it's just the texture that I have a problem. Fabulous!! 08/08/2006 at 08:06pm User: Meggan from College Station, TX User Rating: These peaches were very easy to make and everyone loved them! They were everyone's favorite part of my dinner party!! Just Peachy 08/03/2006 at 02:22pm User: Marc from valencia, CA User Rating: I used frangelico instead of an almond liquor, and although I was happy with the dessert, I was surprised by how difficult it was to taste the rum and frangelico. The peaches I used were very ripe, and sweetened up nicely when grilled. I'm not sure that the sugar, sauce and extra cooking made much of a difference. I may try to soak the peach halves in a little bit of the sauce before grilling next time. Grilled Peaches with Amaretti 06/25/2007 at 04:08pm User: Dianne from North Haledon, NJ User Rating: I made this dessert for company. What I liked about it was that I grilled the peaches and prepared them to be baked ahead of time. I also pre-crumbled the cookies and everything was ready to go. I got wonderful compliments from my guests who are "foodies". I also wondered what to do with the other half of the amaretto/rum mixutre, but I remembered seeing Ina drizzling it over the peaches once they were baked. I didn't do that because I felt they had enough liquor already, so I tossed the rest. I'd make these again! A highly recommended recipe. love grilled fruit 06/14/2007 at 07:06pm User: Anonymous User Rating: We cooked our peaches fully on the grill turning them over once. After pulling them off the grill, we drizzled them with amaretto and added a dollop of mascarpone cream and topped them with crushed biscotti cookies. I love that I can do all of this outdoors and not have to heat my house with the oven. Great 05/27/2007 at 12:33pm User: jennifer from st paul, MN User Rating: I left out the Almond liqueur on the ones I ate, but left it for the other people at my house. (I don't care for that strong strong flavor) I think my peaches may have been too ripe as they got a little mushy when pulling apart, but it was soo good. I also topped them with some crumbles toasted almond slices along with the amaretti cookies. I loved them. Everyone else did, as well, so I decided next time I will eat mine with the almond liqueur. My husband has never had grilled fruit of any kind so he was skeptical, but the next morning he ate 4 for breakfast.
