Crowd pleaser! 11/27/2006 at 08:53pm User: Roxanne from Palmdale, CA User Rating: I served this at Thanksgiving and it got rave reviews. It's light and tasty. For me the garlic was a little overwhelming so next time I will use less. Overall it was great and very easy! Amazing 10/14/2005 at 03:44pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Amazing flavor and incredibly easy to make. its just beautiful Not a shy soup 09/25/2007 at 01:38am User: Judy from Belle Plaine , MN User Rating: Excellent!! Big bold flavors in this soup. I followed the recipe, well except for all of the salt, exactly. I really love how it shaped up in the end with the cream. My husband loved it too. Wonderful 08/03/2005 at 05:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Even my very picky 1 year old daughter loved this soup! BLAH! 04/16/2005 at 03:29pm User: Dan from Troy, MI User Rating: SOUNDS REALLY GOOD, BUT IT IS TO STRONG. I ENDED UP THROWING THE WHOLE THING AWAY. Heavenly Garlicy Soup 04/08/2006 at 09:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Low FAT, Low Salt Lactose Free Creamy Soup, Nice and spice to the taste. Soup/Marinade 04/03/2005 at 07:25pm User: Kimberly from San Antonio, TX User Rating: I liked it as Soup. Well worth making, but a little strong on the onions. It is awesome for GREAT a marinade. Strong but really fabulous flavors 03/11/2007 at 05:23pm User: shari from brandon, MS User Rating: Was looking for an onion soup recipe and thought I would try something different. Wow! If you love onions and garlic then you will love this soup. Ended up having to substitute beef broth for the chicken broth in the second half (the 4 cups) of this recipe (sorry Emeril). It still turned out wonderful and the picky men at my house loved it. Served it with salad and french bread. Perfect. great flavors but lacks a little 02/13/2007 at 04:11pm User: robert from mineola, NY User Rating: Although I can not honestly rate this recipe as written (I had to make some substitutions and cut back on some seasoning quantities), it wasn't a five. I like spicey food and the flavor was great. I enjoyed dipping bread in the soup. However, the color wasn't appealing and the aroma lingered a little too long for anyone in range. My fiancee threw the leftovers away... Good and easy 01/18/2007 at 04:01pm User: Sandra from Twinsburg, OH User Rating: The soup base is so good. Surprisingly the garlic is not the first thing you taste. The only problem is that it calls for additional salt which makes it way too salty. Next time I'll just let the broth do the salting! |
