Quick & Easy Side Dish 11/17/2006 at 01:26am User: Toni from Westminster, CA User Rating: I needed a quick and easy side dish for Thanksgiving that didn't require oven use so I tested this recipe out on daughter. It definitely passed because she had seconds! One of the easiest veggies to make... 09/28/2006 at 05:54pm User: LAURA from Rochelle, IL User Rating: I saw this on tv today and had to try them when I saw that I had a 1 pound bag of baby carrots on hand. I wasn't even following the recipe, but just followed what she did on the show. I just put a dab of water in the pan with plenty of salt and pepper. I knew that they cooked for 7 minutes, so when it was down to just 3 more minutes, I also dumped in a bag of sugar snap peas, added just a little more water and continued cooking until it was done. WOW. It was amazing. And I didn't even put on any parsley or anything. (Didn't forget the butter though!) You are left with tender veggies, not drowning in water and they are wonderfully seasoned with the salt and pepper. Butter is like the cherry on top of a Sunday. PERFECT. Thanks Ina! delicious 09/21/2006 at 09:15pm User: Michele from Jessup, PA User Rating: These are better and much quicker than roasted carrots. elegant but easy 09/10/2007 at 11:56pm User: gwen from chattanooga, TN User Rating: These carrots were delicious. I used organic peeled baby carrots and used the idea that another reviewer gave and added sugar snap peas. My husband who "hates" carrots had thirds. Thanks Ina Simple and tasty 07/24/2007 at 04:21pm User: Desiree from Seattle, WA User Rating: This was a very easy side dish that has great flavor! Great & Easy Carrots! 03/22/2005 at 02:00pm User: ANGIE from Dallas, TX User Rating: This recipe is easy and delicious. It can be partially prepared in advance which makes it great for dinner guests. It looks beautiful on the plate too! Delicious Carrots 03/19/2006 at 08:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Just delicious. I had 12 people for a BBQ, had churrasco, rice with onions (rice is a must in a Puertorrican dinner), fresh stream beans, fresh asparagus, lettuce and tomato salad and the carrots....Everybody asked for the recipe....They are sabrosos. Carrots 03/18/2006 at 10:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: After tossing it in the melted butter I added one packet of Splenda and then the parsley. Wow....this really made the carrots come alive. My mother used regular sugar in a similar recipe so either way...this is a keeper. I didn't know carrots could taste this good! 03/12/2008 at 07:39pm User: Joan from Northport, NY User Rating: I had too many carrots and wanted to use them up. This was so delicious. I happen to have on hand fresh dill and it made the carrots so tasty. I will definetly make this recipe again. Simple, delicious, and healthy. Pretty good 03/10/2008 at 12:20am User: Kerri from Honolulu, HI User Rating: I used fresh parsley instead of the dill. I'm not a fan of carrots, but eating it this way wasn't bad. My husband said he liked it! Couldn't Be Easier! 01/29/2007 at 12:30am User: Janet from St. George, UT User Rating: These carrots are a fresh, simple, and very tasty dish. Slicing the carrots on the diagonal gives them an up-scale look and also allows for a larger saute surface. We all really enjoyed them.
