Topping didn't stick-at all, even after setting up for 30 minutes. Flavorless as well and I typically LOVE Ina!

what a disappointment

I chose this recipe b/c it was so highly reviewed. christmas dinner, in laws, $85 worth of lamb on the line - wanted to be sure it was perfect. Several problems - the topping wouldn't stick to the lamb at all. it was grossly undercooked in the amount of time specified - internal temp of only 90 degrees. kept guests sitting at table while it cooked for another 20 mins or so. any topping that did stick popped right off when cutting to serve.

a great lamb dish that's easy to make and is a real pleaser for any special dinner guest. the roasted carrot recipe go quite well with this dish. and don't forget, a bold rioja or even a st. emillion.

This recipe makes me a lamb lover.

I was so glad to see this recipe on TV again so I could rate it after making it recently. I had the recipe in my file for a number of months. I am a star with my husband who loves lamb. I only used one rack for two people. It was easy and such an elegant special meal. I like lamb sometimes depending on how it is prepared. This was a winner. I will make it for guests next time.

My kids loved it

I followed this recipe to the letter thinking that it would be too salty. Boy was I wrong. It came out a perfectly tender medium rare. It was juicy and delicious. I will not change a thing when I make this dish again. As my 5 year old said, "This is a keeper!"

This is so goooooooooooood!!!

Not only is this delicious - it is beautiful, as well. I only made one small rack (for 2) and adjusted the recipe. The lamb melts in your mouth!

This was a very easy and quick dish. I spooned the leftover topping over the roasted potatoes I made with the lamb. Definitely a keeper!

I always thought the only decent thing to do with lamb was shish kebab..

This dish looked so beautiful, I had to try it. I have not been historically fond of lamb, other than a heavily marinated shish kebob, but, after creating this recipe, my new opinion about lamb is that you can't ruin a rack of lamb, you can only enhance it. This recipe enhances it, from a number of angles, and the pickiest eater in my family just might have enjoyed it the most. Go figure.

Wow !

This is an easy recipe with outstanding results. It is a great main entree for entertaining. I paired it with fresh green beans and Ina's buttermilk mashed potatoes recipe. All the guests loved it and my husband is still talking about the delicious lamb dinner.

My husband loves lamb, and normally I'm not a huge fan of it. I made this for a special occasion with some dinner guests. It was a great hit with everyone! They couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was. It did turn out a little rare for 3 of the 4 diners, but we just cooked a little longer for them, and all was well. We served this dish with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. They went well together.

Does not taste like a wool sweater!

Even if you don't like lamb, you must try this recipe. It is one of the easiest, most elegant meals you will prepare! It is surprisingly easy to find frenched rack of lamb in your neighborhood grocery store. You will bask in the glory of rave reviews for weeks after serving this one!

Easy and Impressive Lamb Recipe

User: Amanda from Centennial, CO    User Rating:
Thisis super easy to make. The time to cook left the meat gummy and a bit too rare. We cooked it for an additional 10 minutes and it was still rare and lovely. This also allowed the persillade crust to brown a bit more on the rack. Served with fennel salad and a creamy risotto.
