ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

This recipe is one of my favorite recipes ever. I made them in the mini muffin tins and would highly recommend that because the smaller size is more manageable. I put the white chocolate mousse in a pasty bag to fill the cups and that made it very easy and less messy! I wish I could find more AMAZING recipes like this! Everyone was soooo impressed and everyone thought I was a wonderful chef! They aren't as difficult as they look. The phyllo dough is the only thing that takes some time. Multiple people said it was their FAVORITE dessert ever!

Soooooooooo easy and delicious. I had more mouse than pastry however; that was okay because the mouse is perfection.

All of my friends are obsessed with nutella so I fixed these for a "girl's night" at my house! Everyone loved them and out of the few girls there, there were none left! I did have a good bit of whipped cream left over so my roomate and I ate it on all sorts of sweets after our party...it lasts for a few days and is just as good! I'll definitely be making this again!

Perfect ending

Great recipe. easy and certainly has wow factor. I garnished with some red raspberries as an other reviewer suggested and it did add a nice contrast and looked really nice on the plate. Little tip....put a dot of the Nutella in the center of the plate and then put your shell on and it won't slide on the plate when you are serving them!

Best Dessert Ever!

I made this for my sister's baby shower and it was ahuge hit! It was super easy. I made the philo cups in mini muffin tins so they were a two bite treat. I made the cups the day before and the filling about 7 hours before the event. I could not find hazelnuts, so I used almonds. It was really good. Everyone loved them! Thanks Giada, you're my favorite!

A real crowd pleaser

This was extremely tasty and well worth the effort. Also, don?t try to use whole hazelnuts as garnish.

I made these tartettes one day just because I felt like experimenting with new recipes. Initially I bought the phyllo pastry to make "marscapone + raspberry yogourt tarts" so I had a lot of pastry leftover. The dessert was very easy to make and it was no surprise that it also tasted very good since the filling is essentially cream and chocolate. I kept the phyllo tarts in an air-tight container (at room temp) so I could keep the pastry crispy for a week. I simply filled the pastry with the cream mixture whenever I needed a chocolate fix.

White Chocolate Hazelnut Tartlets

User: Michelle from baden, PA    User Rating:
I modified the recipe and used dark chocolate instead of white. I also could not find any hazelnut's in my area so I used toasted almonds instead. I topped the finsihed tartlet with a strawberry for color. As a treat for my staff I passed them out for "Teacher Appreciation Week", they loved them! Very Tasty!

One word: Awesome! Brought to a party and they were loved by all. I used bittersweet chocolate instead of white since I needed to get rid of it and it worked great. One tip, buy phyllo cups instead of cutting sheets yourself, will save lots of time!

I did not think this was hard to make at all. The only time involved was chilling in the fridge. It held up well for a few days in the fridge and I am planning on taking some to a Christmas party. My family loved it. (my only note was that I had to use Pam spray on the muffin pan before I cooked the philo dough). This recipe is awesome!!!

I helped a friend plan and cook a dinner party for 10 people. I brought these tartlets as the dessert. Everyone reved on how cute and delightful they were. I thought I made enought, but if I made 200 more they would have ran out. I made mine in the small muffin tin and used a cut zipplock back for the filling. Dessert with a big hit to any party.

I made these for a baby shower and they got rave reviews. It was my first time working with puffed pastry and it was fun! When attempting to roast the hazelnuts burned them and left them out and it was just as delicious without them! They are quite pretty and have a big ?wow? factor in addition to the amazing flavor.

Loved it! Will definitely do it again. Next time...small muffin tins for more of a bite size and thin the nutella just a little with some of the heavy cream so it's not so thick. I'd like the consistancy between the chocolate and the cream to flow a little smoother. Keep a moist cloth over the stack of dough, it really helps when peeling them apart. Try it !!!!

The tartlets are very easy to make and it doesn't take to much time to make them. The only thing that I changed in the recipe is the amount of white chocolate used- 4 oz. We don't like deserts that are too sweet and They came out perfect for my family.

This recipe is easy and amazing to eat! However the calories are extremly high, I figured it out to be somewhere between 300-450 per tart depending on the ingredients you use and how much of them. I only used half of the butter and nutella which saved me over 100 calories per tart!

Super!!

I am definitely going to try this recipe, I just have a question. I am a little confused about the quantity it makes. It says 12, but in the instructions it mentions 6 phyllo cups. Can someone please confirm how many normal sized cups this makes? Thank you.

I bought pre-formed, small, phyllo cups. That made the dessert even easier and more bite sized.

User: Janet from Lumbrtyon, TX    User Rating:
These tartlets were wonderful. I made them in a mini muffin pan. I took them to 3 parties during the holidays and they were the first dessert to go. I was always hesitant to work with phyllo dough but after you get the hang of it it's nothing to it. I garnished them with chocolate curls and piped on the topping with a pastry bag and a decorating tip. They were beautiful. I never get tired of eating them. Giada, you out did yourself on this one. Keep the good recipes coming.

I put fresh raspberries with this tart and it went over very well. They were delicious! The pastry was a little hard to work with since it was so thin, but if you play with it a little, you'll figure out what works best for you.

I made these tartlets for a wine tasting party I had for the girls from work. They were on the dessert table. I made them in small muffin cups instead of the regular size ones and they were small enough to eat like popcorn. I had to take the tray away from them a couple times so they would try the other desserts. My husband took them to work for a potluck and they were gone before anyone had their main course. They also look very impressive and labor intensive when they are pretty easy. Filling the shells with a pastry bag helps when using the small muffin cups for the shells.

What a great recipe! I recently made these tartlets for a baby shower and everyone raved. I prepared the phyllo cups in a mini muffin pan so they would be bite sized, and garnished with left over toasted hazelnut pieces. They were so easy to make, beautiful, delicious, and devoured. Thanks Giada!

I made these to take to a rather formal dinner party. (Assembled at the party, but had the cream and cups already made.) They were incredibly easy to make, and everyone raved about how delicious they were. I also sprinkled toffee bits on the top (nice addition) and made "spider web" designs out of chocolate almond bark to place on top, since this was a Halloween-themed party. Absolutely one of the best desserts I've ever eaten - much less made. Everyone agreed. Absolute show-stopper.

The tartlets were rather simple to make even though they look very hard to prepare. The only thing that wuld have probably made it better would have been to use pastry puff instead of phlyllo dough. I loved the white chocolate mixed with the cream.
