not so good 06/15/2008 at 04:52pm User: Mary from San Antonio, TX User Rating: I followed this recipe to a T and it still came out very runny. I used full fat greek yogurt which is thicker than your regular yogurt. It just did not work out for me. I wouldn't use this recipe again. Excellent 07/22/2007 at 09:45pm User: Frank from Elizabeth, PA User Rating: Used at a family party. Great taste and easy to make. I was concerned about the fruit juices (orange and lemon) would make the sauce runny. I did not add the liquids to and instead added the zest of one lemon to vanilla yougart. Also drain any liquid from the cut fruit. Turned out perfect. yummy 05/11/2007 at 03:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is awesome for a picnic or summer potluck light and dreamy! 04/28/2007 at 03:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This salad is not only easy to make, but a very refreshing take on a regular fruit salad! Great fruit salad 03/27/2007 at 04:24pm User: randy from Harvard, IL User Rating: Thank you for improving the go-to fruit salad. What a hit!!! MMMMM Salad 02/21/2007 at 05:55pm User: Barbara from Pearland, TX User Rating: Excellent fruit salad, I used fat free yogurt, only 1/4 cup of orange juice and the rest of your ingredients, I recommend this to everyone. Love your show Micheal and your recipes. Thanks runny 12/04/2006 at 03:26pm User: kimmerly from springfield, OR User Rating: I followed the easy Ambrosia recipe to a T. At a party I went to everyone liked the fruit of course, but commented on how runny the mixture was. We ended up putting it in a mixer and made fantastic rum drinks! Very expensive to make this time of year also. Easy to make and tasted fine 09/26/2006 at 03:44pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was easy to do and tasted good. I served it at a party and everyone liked it. Ambrosia Extreme Makeover 04/13/2006 at 04:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I loved the Green Bean Casserole and Ambrosia Salad recipes. Simple and Refreshing 03/13/2006 at 09:36pm User: Janet from St. George, UT User Rating: This dish is easy to prepare and tastes good. I used sour cream as the base for the dressing and it was a little runnier than I would have liked. We did like the flavor of the dressing, however. Delicious! 12/26/2005 at 07:16pm User: Colleen from Lavista, NE User Rating: Very good my family loved it Nice with a few additional touches... 06/20/2005 at 07:30pm User: Marcia from Houston, TX User Rating: Lovely flavor...make it easier by tossing the banana and kiwi with a little lemon juice to prevent browning, eliminating the rest of the fruit juices and instead use 1 carton of lemon yogurt (custard type or Stonyfield Farms brand works well) + 1/3 carton of orange yogurt (don't use fat free-it's too runny). Great flavor & the dressing is nice & thick. Also I added the zest of one lemon + about 1/4 orange to give the flavor a kick. Refreshingly Delicious! 03/06/2005 at 03:09pm User: JANICE from State College, PA User Rating: We served this delightful remake in bowls for a tasty dessert, bringing back wonderful memories of my grandmother's peaches and cream dessert. The mint brightens the taste and brings out the freshness of the fruits. An oldie, but a goodie 03/05/2005 at 01:35pm User: JUDY from Racine, WI User Rating: Try doing what I've been doing for years: take all the fruit you want along with the mint and mix it all up with lemon yogurt or the flavor of your choice. It's not as runny. Ambrosia Extreme Makeover 03/05/2005 at 01:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Great treat. Fruit Fabulous 11/07/2004 at 03:30pm User: DARLENE from Gainesville, FL User Rating: Great receipe makeover. The fresh mint really stands out. Next time I'll use less of the required citrus juices...tad runny. But REALLY delicious. |
