I liked this recipe. It has a unique taste and is easy to prepare. I was hoping to serve it as an appetizer but it seems to be a better breakfast side dish.

These came out nicely with minimal preparation, however, I would suggest using a very small clove of garlic or perhaps even minced instead of fresh as the flavor was a little overpowering, even for someone who really enjoys garlic.

too bready

I cut the bread into very small pieces but still found them to be too big. Other than that, every thing else worked out well. This recipe has potential (because of my love for artichokes). I will attempt these again but instead of the bread slice I will just sprinkle in a LITTLE bit of bread crumbs. I will rate and review this again next week when my father comes over for dinner again.

This is a great appetizer or even finger food for parties. The only thing I would change is to add more artichokes. My husband ate most of them and even both my children enjoyed them as well

made some changes

I followed this recipe exactly the first time and found the marinated artichokes to be too overpowering. I've made several changes since then. I now use canned artichoke hearts or bottoms (not marinated) and add a can of lump crab meat as well as some sauteed red bell pepper and mushrooms. I bake this in a cake pan and call it artichoke/crab quiche and it's a big hit!!

Used a mini cupcake tin to make approx. 16 delicious bites. Recipe exactly the same with exception of bread. Used a slice of good italian bread toasted. Everyone loved this one!@

These are great little appetizers and relatively easy and quick to put together. My boyfriend loved them and practically ate them all. I was looking for something new and different to use artichokes in and I think I found the perfect recipe.

I've made this several times now and I always get rave reviews wherever I take it! However, last time I made this I had to make a couple minor adaptations based on the ingredients I had on hand. As a result, I (accidentally) landed on the final version I will use going forward: used stale bread and soaked in egg mixture before mixing in with artichokes(soaked up ingredients much better), cut the bread into 1/4 inch pieces, added a pkg froz chopped spinach instead of parsley, and kicked up the red pepper flakes and salt just a bit. Also used the suggestion of baking in mini muffin tin. Perfect!!

Delicious idea

This is rich tasting, easy snack that has lots of fiber, reasonable fat content and good protein and carbohydrate amounts. As long as portion control is used, these are great snacks!

The only thing wrong with this recipe is that it only makes six of these fantastic bites of heaven. It was a great brunch add-on.

Quite tasty
