I just watched the actual episode where Sandra Lee made this recipe. She only used 1 cup of orange juice concentrate!!! For some reason, the recipe here states 16 ounces (which is 2 cups)!!!! I'll be sure to try this as soon as I can go to the store for the Yoplait orange creme yogurt!!!

Perfect Score

There is something very wrong with this recipe. I was looking forward to trying it, until I did. Too much orange concentrate, too much ORANGE, very chalking tasting. My family did not enjoy at all. Very dissappointed:(

Fabulous!!!

This was incredible - I make this all the time now. This was the first recipe of Sandra Lee's that I've tried, and this one has made me try more, I have yet to find one of hers that I don't like.

I was watching Sandra Lee's show while I was fixing supper and decided to give it a try. It sounded refreshing on a hot day. It didn't disappoint me. This was easy to make and delicious. My husband really liked it too. A two thumbs up on this one.

With a few adjustments.

Since I was lacking the vanilla pudding mix and orange creme pudding. I did this instead. I had a can of orange concentrate (this only had 12 oz versus the 16oz) and I added the 3 cups of ice, 1 cup of milk. substituted the yogurt 4oz & vanilla pudding mix with a 8oz cup of strawberry yogurt. I also diced up 1 peach and blended it. The results were a refreshing orange strawberry peach smoothie :) It was perfect, I think if I added 16 oz of concentrate it would've been too sweet.

Pretty Good

Not good eats at all.

This is yet another Sandra Lee recipe I don't like. It had too much orange concentrate, way too sweet. I tried it with 6 oz of OJ instead and turned out great. AB Rocks!

There really must have been a printing error on this recipe. If you use 6oz of orange juice it's awesome, otherwise, it's disgusting. Add a banana for an extra bonus, now I'll never buy these at the mall again!

Overkill

This recipe is WAY too sweet and too orangy. My children wouldn't drink it even after I added more ice and at least another cup or two of milk. I think to make it better use the SMALL can of orange juice concentrate and perhaps more milk/ice to make it a better balance of creme/orange/vanilla flavors.

Tried it, twice. Somethings very wrong here. Too heavy on the orange flavor, and it wasn't the ingrediants.

Had a weird packaged taste

I've made this recipe twice now. The second time I left out the orange yogurt, added a little more milk and not quite as much ice. I think I liked it a little better the second time around, but both ways are really good. My children didn't care for it, which surprised me, but I will make it again for myself.

I love this flavor idea, but I think it was too much orange. Tasted like you were drinking the orange concentrate straight from the can. A little orange juice might work better.

good

A little strong tasting but good. My husband said it tasted just like a half and half bar.

I made this with Crystal Lite Orange and also with Tang and compared it to the recipe as written

In a blind taste test, my family and girlfriend preferred the version made with Tang. They said it had the most natural taste.

very yummy orange smoothie!! I think it's a typo in the written recipe. I only put as much in my blender as would fit per common sense.

Error in recipe???

Recipe calls for a 16 oz. froz oj concentrate. I think they meant 6 oz? I purchased a 12 oz froz concentrate and couldn't fit it all in the blender!
