Loved it, I cut back on the horseradish because it was a lil' too spicy for me but hubby loves it hot.. hot.. hot... would recommend this recipe to anyone who is a shrimp lover.

This recipe was fantastic. Not being a lover of horseradish, I could use just one tablespoon of it and it made it perfect for me and my guests. Have copied the recipe 3 times for friends and family. Thanks, Ina. I trying your Eggplant Gratin next!

When I lived in Spain the way shrimps were cooked was you put water to boil, when it is boiling you dump in the shrimps and when the water comes to a boil again you take them out with a strainer and dump them in ice cold water to stop the cooking. You don't need a timer and the shrimps are perfect every time.

I'd always had a problem with overcooking my shrimp..it was tough and bland. This recipe changed all that...it's simple and the cooking time is perfect. Adding the lemon and salt to the water makes a tasty difference.
