Home chips 06/16/2004 at 12:00am User: JO ANN from Nashville, TN User Rating: Excellent, the flavor was as good or better than what I have had at home. The herbs and seasonings added a nice burst of flavor. What a great idea! Really easy and flavorful 05/04/2008 at 01:00pm User: Kelley from Fremont, CA User Rating: I decided to use Sweet Potato chips and they were awesome. I added a little chipotle cayenne to the mixture. Wasn't really crazy about how the garlic turned out as it made the seasoning mixture a bit thick. In the future, I'll use garlic powder instead. I had to add a bit of olive oil when the chips came out of the oven to get the seasoning to stick. The flavor was wonderful. Our guests raved about these. taste less 04/26/2008 at 06:20pm User: Arilene from La Puente, CA User Rating: I had a party and everybody did the recipe and when we ate it 10 people died and 30 fell in terrible sickness Just buy bbq flavored chips 03/31/2006 at 02:14pm User: Danny from Los Angeles, CA User Rating: The only cool thing about this is the idea to warm up the chips. Otherwise, these just taste like a typical spicy or bbq flavored chips. Nothing really different. Also if you try this, please make sure the garlic is very dry after heating. A hit with my guests! 01/12/2008 at 08:20pm User: Patricia from Hanover, PA User Rating: The person who thought they tasted no different than regular old chips from the bag obviously did not follow directions or else has a dead sense of taste----or is perhaps just too lazy in the kitchen! The chips brought raves from my lunch guests. Probably because I did not slice them thin enough, my garlic took much longer to dry. No biggy. Terrific taste. Love all that garlic flavor. Excellent, unique potato chip. |
