Delicious recipe! This is the grown up version of mixing your peas and mashed potatoes.I also stuffed large (cooked) pasta shells with the mixture, put in a skillet,(covered) topped with marinara and parmesan, and simmered in a bit of chicken broth on the stove for about 10 minutes.'Yumm-O!'

I made this recipe for company and everyone raved about it. I sliced Italian bread, toasted it, and placed this on the bread - delicious!

Quite good!

I like this recipe a lot...though I had a lot of trouble "smashing" the peas with the other ingredients. I used a wooden spoon as well as a potato masher. The dish was very good anyway!

I found this recipe to be rather bland. If I made it again, I'd probably use more onion.

I usually love Rachel's recipe, but this was the most disgusting concoction I have ever put on my table. My husband, who will eat anything, took one look and one taste and spit it out in a napkin. Holy cow this was gross!

Nice Change

This was a nice change to your standard old peas. I thought it might be a bit "mushy" but the texture of the cheese and the peas went really well together. The flavors complimented each other well also and everyone loved it!

This one is great if you have left over ricotta. Easy and delicious!

I really did not like this at all...

I usually love peas, but I wanted a different variation to try for Easter dinner. I tried this recipe to take to a pot-luck and actually threw it out and just took plain peas. I am not very picky, but I really did not like this in the least bit.

great

I really enjoyed the different preparation for peas. Since they are my favorite veggie, any alternative preparations are always worth a try.

Whole family loved it

I was shocked when I read other people 's reviews because I'm not a huge pea fan, and my husband is not a huge lemon fan, but we both ADORE this recipe!!! I have gone through more bags of peas since I discovered Rachel's recipe...

good and easy

I have made this twice and it is very easy and very good. It sounds a little bizarre, but the flavors are so good. The lemon zest is a wonderful addition.
