This is so easy and tasty, I couldn't believe it! I wasn't really a veal guy until I tried this. We now serve this very often, even the finicky kids love it.

Sooo Tasty!

This recipe is so easy and is certainly a people pleaser. It was quick to prepare, but tasted like we had been cooking all day. Our guests were thrilled with the results.

Delicious! I had lost the recipe and was delighted to see it again on tv. I came right in and printed another copy. It was easy to make and I felt like a gourmet cook when I served it. It was that good.

this is one of the first times ive had veal to cook with, and this recipe is perfect for it. great taste and texture and a perfect balance between all the ingredients. (i used only half a squeezed lemon, not a half cup)

Sophisticated and Delicious

The flavor of the fresh sage and ham were just perfect with the veal. (To the reviewer who didn't get much flavor-were your ingredients fresh?) The cooking times are very well planned in this recipe. The directions take you step-by-step to perection.

Having just returned from a trip to Italy, I wanted to recreate a great meal for my family much like the one I had at a very fine restaurant outside of Rome. For my meat course I tryed this and it was a truely great match. The meal was a success and this recipe was the hit of the evening.

It was incredible. My husband and I loved it. But when my 10 and 11 year old boys said this is very good. I knew I had to keep the recipe.

Influenced by one review of this (rather tasteless), I substituted pounded chicken breast and deli ham slices - WOW !! ... so tasty - and the "bites" with the the sage were incredible. Also, there was too much oil and butter, and cutting down on those ingredients still produced an incredibly tasty entree. Highly recommend my version!

Nothing special

expected more

I did not get the pan hot enough at first because it took a lot longer to cook the meat (the first 2) than stated in the recipe. Then I bumped up the heat for the second 2 and got the right caramelzation going but the oil/butter just splashes everywhere, you have to be careful. I was eyeballing the wine and I think I put too much in because it did not come out as thick as seen on the show. My husband thought it was pretty good (he's picky), but I only thought it was ok (and I usually eat everything). But I eat veal so rarely that maybe I wasn't used to the flavor. I was expecting more cuz it just looked sooooo good on the show! I think I'll try this with chicken instead.

this is not veal saltimbocca

Veal Saltimbocca is made with SPINACH. There is no mention and although this might be tasty, it's not saltimbocca.
