These were awesome and a hit with the kids as well. Substituted fresh ground black pepper for the cayenne/crushed pepper. Made them for a big BBQ bash, precooked them so at the party I just did the last deep fry and tossed them with the seasonings.

Quite Tasty

These turned out very good. Didn't try these specific seasonings. Maybe those kick it up to a five star recipe. A little complicated but not too hard.

We loved the seasoning provided here and added it to sweet potato fries roasted in the oven rather than fried. They did not crisp up as I would have liked but they were so yummy it did not matter. We ate them all up. We will work on getting them crisper in the next billion times I will be making them for husband and kids.

These sweet potato fries were delicious. I didn't fry them, but roasted them in the oven instead. They weren't soggy or mushy because I turned them over halfway through, and then turned the broiler on for the last couple minutes. I found that the smaller fries were crispier than the thicker ones. I'll definitely make this one again.

Savory sweet potato fries.

These were delicious! I followed the frying directions exactly, except I don't like sweet stuff (brown sugar) on sweet potato fries so I used a little bit of garlic salt. They were great!

Not soggy!

Make sure you add the fries in small batches at the end for the final frying process. If you add too many at a time the oil drops in temperature too rapidly and this makes the soggy. These fries are delicioso!!

Good

The recipe is good. I left off the brown sugar mix because I like my sweet potato fries plain. Boiling helped with the cutting of the potatoes.

yuuuum!

while the process is alittle teadious, the results are well worth the effor. the fries were crisp and the seasonings are impecable, and my 4 yr old daughter agrees. i made some of the batch with emril's bayou blast! essence, just to kick it up a notch, and use a little ranch dressing as a dip. I had no left overs, and the fam. is begging me to make them again.

Unlike other recipes for sweet potato fries that come out soggy, these ones were crispy on the outside and perfect texture in the inside. The best fries!!!

very good!
