this dish was great though it took some extra time cooking, and found it similar to paella. personally, i'll lessen the amount of rice (a bit too much for me) next time. overall, my friend and i really thought this dish was tasty and colorful. thanks!

I followed this recipe almost to a tee. I used skinless chicken thighs instead of cutting up a whole chicken (easier) and unfortunately could not use the olives because my family would have balked. Otherwise I did not vary and it was so delicious. A friend who was visiting while I was cooking it asked if she could stay for dinner. And it was fantastic as well as easy to make. The amount of saffron is right on and the red peppers really brighten it up. I'll add this one to my dinner repertoire.

I tried out this recipe last night and it was delicious. It is not very hard either. I used brown rice instead of white and it took a bit longer, but it was still yummy!!

This was wonderful. Be careful not to overcook your rice. I did and it was a little mushy. Could use a little red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. But still very good.

This could have been really good, but for some reason my rice never would cook completely. I kept adding more chicken broth and cooking longer, but the rice remained a little bit crispy. Also mine had a bitter flavor. Does anyone have any idea what went wrong?

This was my first time making Arroz con Pollo...it was spectacular and easy to make. It also taste wonderful by adding 1 cup of beer while cooking.

The rice was wonderful, but I followed the cooking directions to the letter and the chicken was not done.
