This recipe is so easy and so delicious. I have also made it with butter instead of olive oil, and added a bit of garlic powder instead of garlic. That worked too. I definitely recommend this recipe.

It is the only way that I will cook broccoli was a huge hit. Suggestion though, take the garlic out of oil before it gets too brown.

What more could you ask for? It made a tasty accompaniment to our potato and chicken breast dishes. I went easy on the red pepper as we aren't big fans of hot spices. It was just the right amount.

We don't like spicy food, so I don't use the red pepper flakes. I do add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese right before serving. Even my 4 year old loves it!
