very tasty and simple. i couldn't use the tequila, but it turned out good. the apples were wonderful and the ice cream is a MUST!

My family just loved this dessert. My husband was hesitant (to say the least) since he doesn't like tortillas that much, but he was pleasantly surprised and he literally gobbled it down! The only thing I added was after I drained the chimi's on paper towels, while they were still hot, I sprinkled cinnamon sugar onto each one for added sweetness. Thanks again for a great recipe! I will definitely make this again.

i like this recipe. is there something i can use in replacement of the tequila? (non-alcholic)i still want that outstanding taste.
