This was a favorite at our St. Paddy's day party. We now have it often. Becuase of the cost of Lamp we use half lamb and half pork. We make no other changes.

wanted to make this dinner without having to prep it in the morning, so used a pressure cooker instead.. and it was delicious! i pressure cooked the lamb w/ the chicken broth for 5 minutes, then added the potatoes, thyme, salt, pepper and pressure cooked for another 5 mins, then added the rest of the veggies and boiled (not pressure cooked) for another 5-10 mins. and since i didn't need the 8 servings, just changed up the portions a bit.

This recipe had great reviews so I thought this would be a good one to try. Much to my disapointment it lacked flavor and after 7 hours of cooking the potatoes were not done. I did cut the recipe in half since I was cooking for two.

Made this on a cold day last year and it was perfect. Flavorful and wholesome--how can you go wrong?
