1. Preheat Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cream Using a mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and then eggs, one at a time. Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
3. Fold Fold in blueberries and nectarines. Spread in buttered baking dish.
4. Crumble Blend the butter and sugar with flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Crumble with your fingers until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle topping evenly over the buckle.
5. Bake Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until brown. Serve with freshly whipped cream.
